Privacy Policy
Screench helps you save screenshots, generate searchable metadata, and find those screenshots on your iPhone. This policy explains how Screench handles information when you use the app.
Information processed
Screench may process images you explicitly select or share, an optional instruction, generated text and metadata, anonymous installation and integrity identifiers, capture identifiers and checksums, quota and request status, and timestamps. If enabled, Screench also processes a notification token. If you purchase or restore Screench Plus, Screench processes signed subscription information.
Screench does not require an account, your name, or your email address.
How information is used
Information is used only to provide and protect Screench features, including image processing, local retrieval, quota enforcement, retries, result delivery, optional notifications, subscription verification, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, and service reliability.
Screench does not sell personal information, display advertising, build advertising profiles, or track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
Local-first storage
Your screenshot library, synchronized metadata, search index, tags, filters, and search queries are stored locally on your iPhone. Search queries are not sent to Screench’s cloud service in V1.
Deleting Screench normally removes its local app and shared app data. iOS may retain a security credential in Keychain after deletion; server-side expiry and revocation limit its future use.
Cloud image processing
When you request processing, the selected image is sent over encrypted HTTPS to Screench’s Google Cloud service and its managed AI processing service. The image is processed in request memory and is not intentionally saved to cloud object storage or the cloud database.
Google Cloud provides cloud execution, authentication, database storage, and managed AI processing. Apple provides app integrity, notification, and purchase services. These providers process information under their applicable terms and privacy commitments.
Retention
- Original image bytes: processed in request memory and not intentionally persisted by Screench’s cloud service.
- Generated metadata: retained until the iPhone confirms a successful local commit, with a maximum availability period of 90 days. Scheduled deletion may be asynchronous.
- Share upload credentials: only a cryptographic hash is stored. A credential is valid for 180 days, refreshes during its final 30 days, and an old credential may remain valid for a 24-hour rotation grace period.
- Operational logs: targeted for 30-day retention.
- Minimal operational records: security, quota, duplicate-prevention, notification, and transaction records are retained as needed to operate the service, prevent abuse or duplicate charges, meet purchase obligations, and resolve disputes. These records do not intentionally retain the original image or synchronized OCR and caption output.
Notifications and purchases
Processing notifications are optional. If enabled, Screench stores a notification token associated with the anonymous installation identifier. Disabling notifications stops presentation but may not immediately delete that server record.
Apple processes App Store payments. Screench receives signed transaction information needed to verify status, restore purchases, calculate allowances, and process renewal, expiry, refund, and revocation events. Screench does not receive your full payment-card details.
Security
Screench uses encrypted HTTPS connections, anonymous authentication, app-integrity checks, hashed share credentials, private database access, and access-controlled cloud services. No security mechanism can eliminate all risk.
Your choices and requests
You choose which images to send and whether to include an optional instruction or enable notifications. You may delete local screenshots or the app. To request access to or deletion of cloud operational records, email jeremy@voieech.com. Because Screench does not require an account, we may need an installation support identifier or purchase information to locate the applicable records safely.
Changes
Screench may update this policy when the product or legal requirements change. The effective policy will show its current effective date and public contact information.

資料只用於提供與保護圖片處理、本機檢索、額度、重試、結果同步、通知、訂閱驗證、防止濫用、除錯與服務穩定性。Screench 不出售個人資料、不顯示廣告，也不跨其他公司的 App 或網站追蹤你。
Local-first 與雲端處理
圖片庫、同步完成的 metadata、搜尋索引、標籤、篩選與搜尋詞保存在 iPhone；V1 不會把搜尋詞傳到雲端。要求解析時，圖片會經加密 HTTPS 傳到 Screench 的 Google Cloud 服務及其受管理的 AI 處理服務。圖片只在 request memory 中處理，不會刻意寫入雲端物件儲存空間或雲端資料庫。
保存時間
- 原始圖片 bytes：只在 request memory 處理，不刻意持久保存。
- 解析 metadata：保留到 iPhone 確認已寫入本機，最長可供同步 90 天；排程刪除可能不是即時完成。
- Share credential：雲端只存 hash；有效 180 天，最後 30 天更新，舊 credential 最多保留 24 小時輪替 grace。
- 營運 logs：目標保存 30 天。
- 最小安全、額度、重複處理防止、通知與交易紀錄：依服務營運、防止濫用或重複扣款、購買義務與爭議處理需要保存；不刻意保存原圖或已同步的 OCR／caption 內容。
你的選擇
你可以決定傳送哪些圖片、不填選填指示、關閉通知，或刪除本機圖片與 App。如需存取或刪除雲端營運紀錄，請聯絡 jeremy@voieech.com。因 Screench 沒有帳號系統，可能需要 installation support identifier 或購買資訊，才能安全找到對應紀錄。
